Connectors are used for its direct mounting upon optical fibre through acrylic resin or epoxy.
They can be used either for the direct mounting on on-line cables or for the production of pig-tails and patchcords.

They are especially suitable for its mounting in any type of LAN wiring.

Fibercom can supply connectors ST, SC, SCD, FC, LCD etc,either singlemode or multimode and with any type of calibre: 900 microns and 2 or 3 mm.
We can also supply the kit necessary for the set up of all these connectors, and spare parts of all the consumables needed in the process.

Connectors are the elements located in the endings of the optical fibre and are essential for the correct use and administration of the fibre optic lines. The connectors distributed by Fibercom are designed following the international standards. We don´t use specific tools for its manipulation since the technique that we use is an open one and doesn´t correspond to owner processes or trademarks.

The use of acrylic resins and the process of polishment in three different steps, allows us to guarantee an optical and mechanical performance higher than the standard recommened.

Thanks to all the procedures mentioned above the whole process of mounting a connector takes less than 3 minutes, and even less in the case in the case of the simultaneous mounting of several connectors.
Fibercom only recommends the assembly of multimode connectors with tight-structured fibres since it has a difficult optimization with singlemode fibres or with those that don´t have a tight structure.
